How to Get to the Washington, DC Self-Guided Station and Find the Entrance

  • Location Overview

The Bayside CPR RQI station is located at 1120 Connecticut Avenue NW, Washington, DC, inside the Bender Building.

  • Nearby Landmarks

  • Parking is available both in several nearby lots and on the street
  • Entering the Building and Finding the Self-Guided Station
  • Enter through the main glass doors and proceed to the security desk inside the building to sign in as a visitor.
  • After signing in, take the elevator to the 5th floor and enter the Local Works Office Suites.
  • Walk down the hallway to Suite 5205, following these steps: make a left, then another left, walk past the AED sign to the wall, and make a final left. Look for the Bayside CPR logo on the door.
  • Use the access code sent in your confirmation email to enter. Once inside, the self-guided AHA station will be directly in front of you.

Yes. Since the Self Guided Station is in downtown Washington, D.C., building security protocols are in place. When you enter the main lobby, check in with security and let them know you have an appointment with Same Day CPR in the Local Works office suites. They will guide you to the 5th floor.

This is a common question. As a national American Heart Association (AHA) Training Center, we guarantee that whether you complete our traditional in-person course or use the RQI automated skills assessment, you will receive the same official AHA certification card. The certification is identical in content and recognition, regardless of the training format.

Itā€™s important to know the difference between non-AHA ā€œonline certificationsā€ and the blended learning model approved by the American Heart Association.

We are an official AHA Training Center, which means:

  • We follow AHA guidelines exactly.

Many employers reject ā€œonline CPR certificationsā€ from companies that claim to follow AHA guidelines but issue their own cards. Those certifications are not valid.

How our blended learning courses work:

  1. Online Learning: Complete the knowledge portion of the course online at your convenience.
