This policy outlines the terms and conditions for course cancellations, refunds, and rescheduling. Clients are encouraged to review these terms carefully prior to registration.
1.1) All course registrations are final and non-refundable.
1.2) Upon registration, each student is assigned an official course seat through the American Heart Association (AHA). This assignment is specific to the registered individual and is non-transferable. Consequently, course fees cannot be refunded, and the registration cannot be reused by or transferred to another individual for any reason.
1.3)This policy is strictly enforced and is not negotiable.
2.1) Standard Rescheduling: A fee of $25 will be assessed for each instance of rescheduling a course.
2.2) Reschedule Insurance: Registrants may purchase “Reschedule Insurance” for a one-time, non-refundable fee of $15 at the time of initial registration. This insurance permits the registrant to reschedule their course up to two (2) times without incurring the standard $25 rescheduling fee.
The following items are final sale and are strictly non-refundable:
3.1) Digital and Blended Learning Courses: All purchases of Self-Guided, Online/Blended Learning courses, Heartcode Complete, Heartcode Skills and RQI (Resuscitation Quality Improvement) Registrations. Access to these digital components is procured and assigned to the individual immediately upon registration.
3.2) Rescheduled Courses: Once a course registration has been rescheduled for any reason, it becomes entirely ineligible for a refund.
3.3) Reschedule Insurance and Fees: The $15 fee for Reschedule Insurance and any paid $25 rescheduling fees are non-refundable.
A “No-Show” is defined as a registrant who fails to attend their scheduled course or skills session without prior notification.
