How to Get to the Morristown CPR Verification Station and Find the Entrance

The Same Day CPR / Bayside CPR training location is at 1 Madison Avenue, Morristown, New Jersey, near Morristown Medical Center and just off Interstate 287. The office is located inside the Wellen & Scott Asset Management building.

Enter through the rear entrance of the building
Walk down the small set of stairs.
Follow the arrow signs for Bayside CPR / Same Day CPR until you reach the glass door.
Enter the access code provided in your confirmation email, then press # (pound) to unlock the door.

At first it felt really odd doing this on a computer with mannequins and no instructor. But the instructor literally is watching you as you go and I completely forgot that was the case until I messed up a portion and she was able to calmly guide me through it via camera and mic. I just did the PALS skills session, which was super quick. Mannequins are a little stiff. You’ll have to press the chest pretty hard to get deep enough (1/3 AP diameter of chest) and when you E clamp and jaw thrust the mouth will close (they say lift up but you can’t really lift up as you could irl). But honestly that’s expected given how many people are probably using these things every day. They also gave some souvenirs too. Would def use again.

In principle it is good. There was a communication issue with the computer. The responder was helpful and needed to see me but the camera where they can look into the room didn’t work and I had to figure it out myself. Had he been able to see what I was doing the problem would have been solved immediately and the whole process less frustrating. Also the dummy is pretty sturdy and less flexible than any human I have performed CPR on - you need some solid upper body strength to get compression depth
