The Heartsaver CPR AED course teaches you how to perform CPR and use an AED safely during an emergency. It follows the latest science-based guidelines from the American Heart Association.
You will learn how to recognize the signs of a heart attack and stroke, perform CPR, use an AED, and help someone who is choking. The course also covers drowning emergencies, opioid-related emergencies, and optional Child CPR AED and Infant CPR training.
You can choose the complete online and in-person course or attend a skills session if you have already finished the AHA online course. Both options include professional instruction and same-day certification when you meet the course requirements.
Yes, you must complete the AHA online course before joining the skills-only session. Bring proof of completion so you can finish your hands-on skills evaluation.
You will receive your American Heart Association Heartsaver eCard on the same day after you complete the required training. The complete course also includes unlimited attempts to help you finish with confidence.
