Two new stations on the Texas Gulf Coast

Both stations run the same self-guided format for BLS, ACLS and PALS. Pick the one that fits your commute.

What happens at an Official American Heart Association CPR Verification Station?

You arrive at your booked time, enter using your confirmation instructions and follow the station’s on-screen prompts. The AHA manikins give real-time feedback while you complete the required hands-on skills. It’s an in-person skills check, not an online-only card.

Same Day CPR offers self-guided AHA BLS, ACLS and PALS certification for initial certification and renewal. It’s trusted by nurses, doctors, firefighters, paramedics and other healthcare providers.

BLS is designed for healthcare providers, but anyone can take it: students, caregivers, coaches, teachers, parents and new hires who need a card for work.

Same Day CPR is powered by Bayside CPR, founded in 2012, an Official American Heart Association National Training Center.

Nearby healthcare

Healthcare staff and students in the area often need AHA cards — for example near HCA Houston Healthcare Mainland in Texas City, and CHRISTUS St. Mary Outpatient Center Mid County and The Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur. We mention them only as landmarks. This doesn’t mean any partnership or that a specific employer accepts a card; check your employer’s or school’s requirement.

How long does the self-guided skills check take?

Each course is booked as a one-hour station slot. Follow the on-screen instructions and the manikins’ feedback as you show the required skills. Self-guided means no instructor standing over you. It doesn’t mean you skip the assessment.

What if I don’t pass the first time?

You get unlimited attempts, with feedback each time, until you meet the AHA passing standard. That’s what keeps it stress free.

Can I do BLS, ACLS and PALS in one visit?

Yes. Book back-to-back one-hour slots, each course booked separately, and finish each online portion first. Check the Texas City or Port Arthur calendar for open times.

Your card and your employer’s rules

After you pass the online course and the skills check, your official American Heart Association eCard is issued the same day. If you’re renewing more than one certification, check each requirement separately. Training a team? We also offer mobile workplace training and group discounts.
