All formats result in the same AHA-issued certification.
This is a common concern, and it’s important to distinguish between fully online, non-AHA courses and the blended learning method used by Same Day CPR. As an official American Heart Association (AHA) Training Center, we strictly follow AHA standards and issue only official AHA certifications.
Some employers are understandably cautious because many “online CPR certifications” claim to follow AHA guidelines but issue their own unofficial cards—these are not valid AHA certifications.
At Same Day CPR, all of our AHA courses follow a blended learning model that includes:
1. Online Learning:
Complete the knowledge portion of the course online, at your own pace.
2. Required In-Person Skills Session:
Attend a short, hands-on session at one of our authorized locations to demonstrate your skills—either with an AHA-certified instructor or through our AHA Self-Guided Station. This step is required to meet AHA competency standards and ensures you receive real, practical training.
