How to Get There and Find the Entrance

The building is located at 1160 Spa Road, also known as Maryland Route 387, in Annapolis. It sits in a commercial-office area, surrounded by cafés and professional offices. While it’s not directly on the waterfront, Spa Creek and nearby recreational trails are in the general area, which can help you recognize the neighborhood. The ZIP code is 21403.

To make it easier to spot:

Enter the building from Spa Road, near Forest Drive.
Look for the 1160 Spa Road sign and follow the arrow to the corner of the building.
Walk up the first set of stairs at that corner.
You will see a sign for Bayside CPR / Same Day CPR Self-Guided Station. This indicates that the station is on the bottom floor.
Follow the sign instructions to go down the next set of stairs.
At the bottom, you will see the Bayside CPR / Same Day CPR logo on the door — this is the entrance to the self-guided station.

It was a little creepy going downstairs by myself into the testing room. I wonder why they decided not to have a human instructor. There are now no opportunities for questions. I did not find a stool, so it was difficult to position my shoulders over the mannequin properly. The online training was good.

Online coarse is doable I can go at my own pace, and easy to find location for the rqi station. Completed in like 10 minutes so not bad. I also appreciate them being flexible because I had to adjust the time in which I go to the rqi station, so I appreciate that. Would def return.

I had a question about which course was the right course for me and both times, the staff was very helpful. I wasn’t sure if I’d like the online course version since I’ve only ever done it in the classroom before but after getting stuck in another state due to airline cancellations, it was great to be able to do the coursework while waiting for my rescheduled flight then take the skills test when I got back. Otherwise, I would not have been able to start my new job on time. The coursework site is not the most mobile friendly but it is doable! I’m sure it’s much easier on a laptop. It is well paced and informative and I felt prepared for my skills test. It was nice being in a room alone to be able to do it without feeling like you look ridiculous. The skills test was helpful and gave live feedback. The screen could be distracting at times since it shows a live metronome and I would begin to lose pace, but then I would redo it making sure to just be looking down at the manikin instead and it was way better (& more realistic!). Definitely recommend this to anyone needing certified and I am glad I was able to get this done down the street and a time convenient for me.

The hands-on training was great, and the instructor was friendly, confident, and engaging. Unfortunately, the video for the First Aid section didn’t work, which made that part a bit disorganized. The trainer did her best to cover all topics from memory, but we finished about 45 minutes early. Overall, still a good experience, just recommend having a backup for the video in future sessions.

I keep coming back to Bayside CPR , Same Day CPR because their business model is honed in efficiency. From my experience this time (and past experience too) , I am so pleased with just how thought out it all was. From booking online to getting to the class, I was well informed about the process. They sent emails about everything . So they had me do the online portion and the skills part was a new experience with it being no-instructor led…still there were tips and tricks as well as detailed training videos to help students. I am most pleased with how fast it went ( I was out in 20minutes!! 😳🤗). If there is anything I could add is, please consider adding a physical roadside sign to help students to find the class location. I did pass it the first time, drive way entrance is narrow and tree foliage doesn’t really help. Thanks Bayside CPR!!! 😊👌👍

What courses are available?

How do I know which course I need?

How long does my AHA certification last?

AHA certifications are valid for a duration of two years.

Are your instructors certified by the AHA?

Yes, all of our instructors hold certification from the American Heart Association and bring extensive emergency care experience. After completing any of our courses, you will receive an official certification from the AHA.

How does(Automated Station) differ from traditional all in-person AHA courses?

Traditional AHA courses are lengthy in-person training sessions. With the Self Guided Training, participants complete online modules at their own pace and then come to one of our locations for a brief, automated skills assessment using the Self Guided AHA Station.
