How to Get to the Fairfax Self-Guided Station and Find the Entrance

  • Location Overview

The Same Day CPR/Bayside CPR  Fairfax training location is at 990 Fairfax Boulevard, Fairfax, Virginia. The office is located on the fifth floor inside the Local Works suite.

  • Parking
  • Free parking is available in the lot directly in front of the building. You can park in any open space.
  • Entering the Building and Finding the Self-Guided Station
  • Enter the building through the doors under the black awning labeled “990 Fairfax Boulevard.”
  • Walk into the lobby and take the elevator to the 5th floor.
  • Exit the elevator and turn right, then follow signs for Local Works.
  • Continue down the hallway to Suite 560 (Local Works) and enter through the glass doors.
  • Walk through the lobby area, continue down the hallway, then turn left.
  • The Bayside CPR/Same Day CPR office (Office 10) is located on the corner.
  • Use the access code provided in your confirmation email to enter and close the door behind you.

Interesting/helpful to get feedback from a computer that can calculate the correct pressure and frequency of chest compressions via the connected manikins. If you have questions, they can help you via text or the Ring camera.

The instructions were clear and easy to follow, making it possible to complete the course independently. However, since it is an automated system, I couldn’t ask the instructor questions right away, which was a bit disappointing. I also wanted to practice a wider range of ACLS procedures, but I felt the program was somewhat limited in that regard.

I found out that it is better than a person watching because the computer is able to detect if I am pushing the chest enough, giving enough oxygen , and the rate of compression is faster or slower. I know that I am going to do it correctly,

Easy process signing up online, and this location has more scheduling options. If you're willing to be minimally supervised (ring camera to communicate) while you go through the RQI system using the mannequins then this will work for you. Mannequins work fine with proper feedback.
Only downside is that they greeted me when I first got there, but when I waved at the camera with a question sometime during the process, they never responded.

I would use them again.
