  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Sales & Service

Yes. We are an authorized National Heart AHA Training Center. Upon successful completion of your course and skills session, you will receive your official AHA Course Completion Card the same day.

All American Heart Association provider cards (BLS, ACLS, PALS, etc.) are valid for two years. To maintain your AHA Course Completion Card without a lapse, you should enroll in a renewal course before your current card’s expiration date.

These courses are designed for different providers and scenarios:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS): This foundational course is for healthcare providers and lay rescuers who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life-saving skills in a wide variety of in-facility and prehospital settings.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS): An advanced course for healthcare professionals who direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS): An advanced course for healthcare providers who respond to emergencies in infants and children and for personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care, and critical care units.
  • Heartsaver CPR/AED/First Aid: The American Heart Association (AHA) Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED course is designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs to learn lifesaving first aid and CPR skills. It is often required for workplace, regulatory (like OSHA), or other job-related purposes. The course can be completed through the AHA Self Guided blended-learning format that combines an online portion with a hands-on skills session.

We offer two primary formats to fit your schedule and learning preference: Our popular AHA Self-Guided Hybrid format and traditional Instructor-Led classes.

  • AHA Self-Guided (Hybrid Course): This is our most convenient and popular training format. It combines online learning with a brief, in-person skills assessment at one of our American Heart Association Self-Guided CPR Verification Stations.
  • Traditional Instructor-Led Classes: For those who prefer a full in-person classroom setting, we offer fully in-person courses with an instructor. These classes are available at our locations in Annapolis, MD; Centreville, MD; Columbia, MD; and Dover, DE.

Our innovative hybrid learning format follows a simple, three-part process:

  • Part 1: Online Coursework. After registering, you receive access to the official AHA HeartCode online portion of the course, which you can complete at your own pace from any computer or mobile device.
  • Part 2: Hands-On Skills Session. Once the online portion is complete, you will attend a brief (approx. 30-minute) appointment at one of our facilities to complete your hands-on skills assessment using our state-of-the-art self guided cpr verification stations.
  • Part 3: Receive Your Course Completion Card. Your official AHA Course Completion Card is automatically sent to your email as soon as you successfully complete the hands-on skills session. This is the same card you would receive after completing a traditional in-person class.

The American Heart Association skills station session is completely self-guided. It uses a “virtual coach” to guide you through the assessment, which takes about 30 minutes. The AHA system provides real-time, objective feedback on the quality of your chest compressions and ventilations, including the rate, depth, and recoil. This ensures you are meeting the highest AHA standards for resuscitation. While the session is self-guided, our trained staff is available via a camera to assist you if any difficulties arise.

  • Convenience: Complete your Official American Heart Association training at your own pace at one of our many stations, without needing to schedule a full-day class. The skills session itself only takes about 30 minutes.
  • Confidence: The program’s real-time feedback helps you stay confident and current in your life-saving skills.
  • Quality: The virtual coaching system ensures you are performing high-quality CPR, which is a critical factor in patient outcomes.
  • Flexibility: With numerous locations and appointment times, you can fit your certification into your busy schedule.

Yes, absolutely. Our Self-Guided certification is an official American Heart Association (AHA) program. Upon successful completion, you will receive the exact same official AHA eCard that you would receive from a traditional, instructor-led course.
